2023 GREENVILLE MARCH THINK MOVE CHESS TOURNAMENT

Location: Green Charter School, Cafeteria, 1440 Pelham Rd, Greenville, SC 29615

Entry Fee:   $20 if paid online, $25 onsite.  Sets provided; bring a clock if you have one.

Sections:
USCF membership required, K – 2nd grade & USCF rating under 700; K – 4th grade & USCF rating under 800; K – 6th grade & USCF rating under 900; K -- 8th grade & USCF rating under 1100; K-12th grade / Open
Non-USCF members, may play in separate Non-rated Beginners Section.

Final Registration and Check-in 8:00 am – 8:45 am.
(Anyone not registered by 8:45 am will not be paired for the first round, but may play the remainder.)

Time Controls: 4 rounds, G/25, d5, Swiss System – no one is eliminated, but byes may occur.  Participants may play in a higher section, but not below their grade level.  Section assignments may be adjusted based on number of participants.

9:00- 10:00 Round 1
10:15- 11:15 Round 2
11:30- 12:30 Round 3
12:30 – 1:30 LUNCH
1:30 – 2:30 Round 4

Tournament Director may adjust the schedule as needed. Restaurants are nearby.
