Rated Section - USCF membership required; Number of sections determined by attendance.
Non-Rated Section, USCF membership not required.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize trophies in Rated Section. Medals in Unrated Section
Final Registration and Check-in 9:00 – 9:25 a.m.
(Anyone not registered by 9:50 am will not be paired for the first round, but may play the remainder.)
Time Controls: 3 Round Swiss G/25 d5., Swiss System – no one is eliminated, but byes may occur. Participants may play in a higher section, but not below their grade level. Section assignments may be adjusted based on number of participants.
Tournament Schedule:
9:30 am - 10:25 am Round 1
10:50 am - 11:25 am Round 2
11:40 am - 12:30 pm Round 3
12:30 – 1:00 p.m. LUNCH on-site (Pizza and water provided)
1:00 - 3:00 p.m Training Seminar
Training Seminar: During this time Four-time South Carolina State Champion & International Master Dr. Alexander Matros will hold game review with the players. Proper game review is essential for players progress and success during their chess careers.
Tournament Directors may adjust the schedule as needed. Restaurants are nearby.
